Quicktime not playing 120fps video

When I try and play 120fps video only the audio plays over a black screen. The video plays fine in Elmedia Player. The files are 1080, MP4, H.264.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

It happens all the time and I'm not sure if anyone else has similar issues. I am not near my storage capacity, I have more than enough ram available, and am on the latest update. Currently these videos are being played locally, and are not being streamed.
