Is there a way to add a dead iPhone back to my Apple ID list of devices and if so how? I have the Serial Number. Since iPhone is dead I can’t use Find My.
The only method of associating any Apple device with your AppleId is to sign into iCloud with that AppleID on that device. So no, you cannot add it any other way.
To find out why it would not turn on the technician deleted the iPhone. I like to have all my Apple devices listed. Are you saying, if I have the Serial Number, and the phone won’t turn on, there is no way I can manually add it back now? The only way is to sign into iCloud on the dead phone or I would have to turn on Find My, which I can’t do since it won’t turn on?
You need to be able to sign into iCloud on the phone to add it back to your device list. See the Add section in the Apple Support article below.
