How do I take a screenshot with my 6S. When I press the "Home" and "Off" buttons, either Voice Control is activated or my screen shuts down. This does not take a screen shot on my phone. Is there any other solution?

Press and hold Sleep immediately click on Home. You should hear a camera shutter sound, the screen blinks and the image ends up in the Camera Roll or Recents (name depends on the iOS version).
I can’t think of any reason a legitimate help desk would ask for a screen shot. Apple certainly wouldn’t.
But to take a screen shot press and hold the HOME button while pressing the LOCK button.
Well, I thought if I gave them the text it would be OK. It isn't. But the HOME + LOCK buttons doesn't work anyway. Depending on my timing, it either shuts the phone off or engages Voice Control. Doesn't take a screen shot. But THANK YOU for trying to help.

I just wanted to verify they wanted a screenshot of something innocuous.
If you press HOME slight before pressing and releasing both buttons it should take a screen shot. Do you use voice control? If you don’t just turn it off.
