Postscript Type 1 fonts not working with 10.15.3

After installing 10.15.3 I am not able to load my Postscript Type 1 fonts any more using Font Book or Font Explorer X. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Old PostScript fonts—this stuff is twenty-odd years old—have been causing problems for a while.

Might be able to translate, if the font licenses permit.

Or find replacements, of course.

I have Postscript Type 1 fonts functional on 10.15.3, and available in Font Book, and Pages v8.2.1. They do not appear in the LibreOffice v6.3.2 Writer font menu though. I am not using Font Explorer X, or any other font management software.

Due to the age of the Type 1 fonts, they have resource forks on them, and if you are not careful about copying them, or worse, shoving them unprotected (unzipped) through iCloud, or other cloud software, the resource forks will get stripped, and the fonts become useless. This is what happened to me copying them through iCloud.

Once I zipped up a folder of my Type 1 fonts, and transferred that to Catalina, and unzipped that folder into my /Users/username/Library/Fonts folder, Catalina discovered them and they were usable.
