I was asked to update my icloud password and I did. I tried to update the password online and got the verification code but there was no place to put the code when I received it.

Sometimes you have to memorize or write down 6 digit and enter them under where the digits come up. I've always thought it strange when that happens.
If you see a password box, enter the password (ABC) followed by the code (123) or ABC123 (no spaces).
