Closing exercise ring not accurate

Seriously this seems to be an ongoing issue with out door walks and should be fixed by apple. I walked for 36 minutes out doors and it gave me a 7 minute credit. It shows the map and the correct minutes so it’s on. Everyone’s exercise level is different m, the idea is to move. There’s times I don’t add any exercise and it credits me a couple of minutes. My friend said Fitbit is more accurate but that’s not what I purchased. I’m trying to close all my rings and when this alpha opens late at night it’s just lame. I don’t want to reset everything- just fix the bug.
