KiCAD Extras need authentication to install

Howdy,

Macbook Pro, 10.15.2.

I cannot get past this drag drop install point below:

There is nothing else to click to "Authenticate".

I have "Security & Privacy" preferences unlocked and selected "App Store and Identified Developers".

Is there a way to install packages like this from the command line?

Cheers,

H

I got it installed. A Right click on the destination icon showed the path where the data was supposed to go: /library/application... Opened the file browser, went there and dragged the thing across. Now Mac OS popped up an authentication dialog for my password.

So the KiCAD installer doesn’t quite conform to the latest Mac security checks, but once past that, KiCAD actually works.
