Is Sanskrit font available for Macbook pro Mid 2012?

Sanskrit is normally written with the Devanagari font, and Apple has provided such fonts with Mac OS for many years already. To type using these characters you activate one of the Devanagari keyboards in system preferences/keyboard/input sources.

For special forms you may need to use the Apple typography panel.

You can add also try adding fonts especially designed for Sanskrit, like Sanskrit 2003.


Some apps are better than others: Word for Mac is often not very good for Indic scripts.
