How to control homepod from Watch

Hello,

I sometimes see on my watch a control panel ( adjust volume / pause, next) to control the HomePod. I love that feature, but it has recently disappeared. What requirements must be met in order to control the HomePod from the Apple Watch? Thank you for any hint

Hello,

Here is how you can control your HomePod’s playback from your Apple Watch’s Now Playing application:

On your iPhone > Open Control Center > Long-Press on the multimedia playback square > Scroll down to your HomePod and select it.

On your Apple Watch > The Now Playing application will display the HomePod’s playback.

That's precisely how I used to control the homepod's playback from the Apple Watch. Unfortunately, "Now Playing" is no longer appearing on my watch.

I just discovered this: It turns out the "Now Playing" feature is no longer working ever since I purchased and paired my new EarPods Pro. I just unpaired them from the phone, and the watch "Now Playing" feature is working again.

I guess I'll place a bug resolution request for EarPods Pro - iPhone - Watch - HomePod!!

Thanks for your help.
