Help getting Panasonic Printer KX-MB1500 work with Macbook ( macOS 10.15.x )

Hello,

I have been using my Panasonic Multi Function printer KX-MB1500 for couple of years now in PC setup. Now I have moved to Macbook and do not have PC anymore. When I try to find printer driver in Panasonic support portal, I do not see any support mentioned for mcOS beyond 10.9 or so. Current OS in my Macbook is 10.15.2 and able to use the printer. Are there any ways to get latest driver for this printer ? Any of you faced this issue ? Any support here would be of great help.

Best Regards

Mohan

It appears Panasonic has not updated their drivers since macOS 10.11 that was released over 4 years ago. Their Mac support has always be a bit "spotty."

It is the printer developers' responsibility to keep their drivers current with major OS changes, not the other way around. I would contact Panasonic and ask them why you cannot get new drivers when Apple switched to 64-bit processor in 2006-7 and announced that macOS 10.15 would be 64-bit only over two years ago.

.Panasonic lists that printer model under "Discontinued Models" so don't get your hopes too high.
