An error occurred while copying the Windows installation files

Need massive help, I have tried all known ways, but they are either outdated or don’t work anymore. I am using an iMac Pro with macOS High Sierra with 3 GHz Intel Xeon W processor.

Is there a new method for installing windows?

Hey VoltaireDC!

I had a very similar issue on my 2018 MacBook Pro, and it turned out the culprit was an outdated Windows ISO that, for some reason, wasn't compatible with the more modern machine.

Grabbing a new Disk image direct from Microsoft and using it to install Windows solved that issue. (Make sure to visit the download site from a Mac or Linux machine, if you go to it on a Windows machine it will prompt you to download their "Media Creation Tool" instead.)

Hope it helps!
