Recently the microphone icon has replaced the up arrow on my iMessages new message space. How can I stop this as a default; deleting the microphone setting removes it from the keyboard but doesn’t solve the problem and pressing the symbol sends an audio message when I want text.

Once you begin typing, the audio icon will be replaced by the send icon.
