Apple Watch constantly recording activity

Hello,

I've noticed over the last few days that my apple watch is recording activity as if I am standing/exercising for 24 continuous hours for 3 days straight. How do I reset this and is there a way to edit the activity that's already recorded as now it will alter my stats. This occurred both while I was wearing the watch, while it was charging, and while it was off but not charging.

Thanks,

Lindsey

Try a forced reset;

To force reset your Apple Watch, press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for at least 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.

And if this doesn't work then I would try unpairing and re-pairing your watch.
