Mail doesn't close, when shutting down

Hi William,

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

Did you get it fixed?

my mail box freezes up when trying to shut down. I have to use forced shutdown to close it out. And I then have to use forced shutdown on the computer in order to shut it down

Can't close mail, or open it.
