Hide Startup Items Doesn't Work. Why?

Hi there!

I added Slack, Skype... to startup items and marked them to hide on System startup. But they become open popup after every restart (or shutdown --> turn on...). What's wrong?

Anyone has similar issues?

I hope someone can help me because it really drives me nuts...

Thanks in advance!

Boot into Safe Mode (Use Safe Mode to isoloate issues with your Mac and Playing Safe: what does Safe Mode do?), make sure the hide settings are activated, reboot normally and see if they remain hidden.

NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing some system cache cleaning, volume verifying and directory repairing.
