regarding SSD upgrading

Hi,

i've purchased a new Macbook pro 13" last month on 20th. SSD is only 128 GB and i've taken 3 years geek squad protection from best buy since i bought it from best buy. Now, I want to upgrade my drive. If I change it by myself at home, there would be any warranty problem with that?

Thanks.

Md.

SSDs and memory are not upgradable after purchase on any 2018+ Apple laptops (same thing for most desktops as well). The SSD & memory are soldered to the Logic Board so you will either need to use an external drive for extra storage or purchase a new computer with a larger SSD.

I honestly don't know why Apple keeps selling systems with such small SSDs and low memory as so many people are caught unaware. I'm sorry for the bad news. You can always provide product feedback to Apple here:
