iPhone XR screen replacement

Hey guys. I’m looking at getting the front screen of my iPhone XR repaired. I just heard from someone if the back is cracked aswell I have to pay for both back and front to get fixed at the same time. I’m just wondering if this is correct ?

Cracked Screen Replacement Hello all, I have an iPhone XS with a cracked screen / cracked back. I am looking to get the screen repaired. I tried with best buy, but they told me they were unable to fix the screen because my back glass was cracked, he then told me to go to an apple store and they will be able to. I wanted to confirm if it is possible to go to an apple store and get my front screen replaced, only, as I do not care too much for the back glass. I have apple care+.

If the back is cracked, generally Apple offer you a replacement iPhone at a convenient price, because the repair costs would be too high.
