how do I find my passcode not password? Thanks

I am trying to get my Ipad working now it is asking for old passcode not password what is it and how do I find it Thank you. Sue

There is nowhere to find it. You either remember the screen lock passcode, or you erase the device in iTunes to reset it. Those are your only options.
