I just received a call which I believe is spam. It was automated claiming it was Apple support telling me to stay off of the cloud for security reasons. I just wanted to make sure nothing is actually wrong with my account.
It is a scam. Also note that number shown on most scam and telemarketing calls is spoofed and is not the number originating the call. Apple does not make unsolicited phone calls.
