I lost my photos app on my iMac when I upgraded to Catalina. How do I get it back? It's not in the app store.

Anyone know how to recover a photos app?

Permanently Deleted pictures on photos app on MacBook pro Hi All, So i have a MacBook pro 2013 and i am running MacOS Catalina version 10.15.4. I was in my photos app and i deleted some pictures. I then went to the "recently deleted" tab on the left hand side and then selected all the "recently deleted" pictures and "permanently deleted" the pictures. I got a prompt form the app that this action could not be undone. My question: is there anyway to recover these "permanently deleted" pictures? and is so how? NB: i have no backups of these pictures anywhere!

Well, I just opened the library from my account and it magically appeared. Strange, it didn't show up when I used the search function and I couldn't find it in my applications.
