The question I asked got fixed... how do I delete my post =)

You can't delete a post. Only the hosts can do that.

Setup does not ask for passcodes from other phones. Passcodes are only found in the phone they are created and used on, and nowhere else.
Are you sure its not just asking you to set one up? A Passcode is required if you plan to use FaceID, and Apple Pay.
