Is it possible to change the background color in the viewing window of Photos? In iPhoto, my photos were displayed on a gray background. Now it's on a white background. Any choices?

Is it possible to change the background color in the viewing window of my Photos library? in iPhoto, my photo thumbnails were shown on a gray background. Possible or not?

It sounds like you’re looking for a way to change the background color within the Photos app using Catalina, is that right? If so, I’ll be happy to provide a bit of insight. 


There wouldn’t be a way to change the background color for the Photos app alone. However you can change the appearance of your Mac in System Preferences. Keep in mind this will change the appearance of the entire system, not just the Photos app.
