STOPPP!!! Safari from auto-login to Google Apps on startup.

I can not get Safari to stop auto-logging me into Google whenever I start Safari on my Mac. The weird thing is that it is not saved in my "Passwords" section of the Safari settings. There are many other websites listed in this section that are either designated as "never saved" or have their username and password stored.

I have the AutoFill user names and passwords box checked.

I have my homepage for Safari set to www.google.com.

Any help on how to stop this from happening?

Thank you!

Google, like almost all websites, sets “cookies” to keep track of individual users. That’s where your auto-logins are coming from in all probability. You can delete any cookies related to Google but they will be reset the next you login manually. You can block cookies but it’s likely Google will then not allow you to make full use of the website. You might search around in Google preferences to see if you can turn off any auto-logins.

Not like almost all sites... every other site that requires a login UN & PW are controlled by Safari's password auto-fill feature. Why is Google not following these browser rules? You can not block all cookies, that would be very disruptive to many things while using Safari. You also can not login to Google if you have "cookies blocked".

It seems to be something else going on. Anybody have a solution to this?

I did just try this and it didn't seem to make any impact on the issue. Do you think this has something to do with OS Keychain Access? I don't have much familiarity with using the Keychain app, but would this have any influence on Safari auto-saving the password?

The reason I am trying to stop this from happening is I do not want any passwords to my personal accounts to be auto-saved on this computer. It is a work computer and I would just prefer if this was not something I had to deal with.

Thank you.
