I´m running El Capitan at the minute but need Sierra or HighSierra to use software, what is the best for me, with the following spec:

Total Number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 6 MB
Memory: 16 GB

The farthest you can go with the Mac is macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra and I would recommend High Sierra (10.13) over Sierra (10.12).
