iMac issues - Issues downloading Catalina update

I am having issues downloading Catalina update as the download times out constantly. I then have to restart the download, unsuccessfully. Sometimes it download almost 75% of it then times out. Why do you think this is? How can I overcome this issue? Thanks.

Delete any copy of "Install macOS Catalina" that may be in the Applications folder then try while in Safe Mode.

If that doesn't work, you need a better internet connection, Ethernet if possible.
