MacBook Pro 2019 not turning on unless plugged in.

I have a MacBook Pro 13 2019 bought on 30th of November 2019. After some weeks, the space bar started to have some problems, which I understand that are pretty common for this generation of Mac, and the Apple store decided to replace the entire keyboard. I understand that the keyboard is connected with the battery, so they had to replace the entire system.

The keyboard works just fine now, but I have another more peculiar problem. There's a certain moment of the day when, after it had been shutdown, the laptop refuses to turn on unless it's plugged in, even though the battery is charged. This appeared just after the before mentioned replacement, and, of course, I went to the store to have the problem fixed. The employee that received me run their usual test, which showed that the battery works in normal conditions, and he did a SMC reset. The problem occurred again the day after, and since then I did another SMC, but without any success.


Do you have any solutions or advice?

Make an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar for service. If you need to find an Apple Store - Find a Store - Apple. Also, see How to find your nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider (AASP) or Distributor (AAD).
