Safari upgrade lost favourites

Hello, just updated to latest safari on my MacBook Pro 2017...

All webpage icons are gone, but all favourites are gone when I start a new webpage.

Is this bug known?

Thanks

Safari > Preferences > Search > Smart Search Field:

Make sure "Show Favorites" is enabled.

See your favorite websites in Safari on Mac - Apple Support

If this doesn't help:

  • Use safe mode to try to isolate the cause of the issue.

Once in Safe Mode, click the “Restart” button at the bottom of the screen to exit Safe Mode.

Test.
