It all worked ok before the 13.3.1 update. I can still do all the other edits such as composition and other markups, but when I click the text option I get the usual drop down menu for text style, color, size, etc... but no keyboard appears to begin typing desired text I want to insert into the photo. I’ve restarted the phone, and these are photos taken by - and stored on - my phone, not retrieved from iCloud.
Any ideas?

Had to restore iOS 13.3.2 on my iPhone via secure iTunes web connection on a pc. Actually that also fixed some other nagging problems like touchscreen and cut-n-paste failures.

If you double tap into the text box, does the keyboard appear for you to type words? Are you able to see the keyboard in other apps?
Also, About the keyboards settings on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch is an article that can help you verify your keyboard settings.

Is this happening with the Photos app or are you using a different app to edit your photos? If this is happening on a 3rd party app, have you installed all the available updates for it?
