iPhone problems

Hi, I have the IPhone 7+ That I received about a year or so. I’ve recently been having problems with my phone since the most recent update I think iOS 11 came out. Recently, when people call me I can’t hear them and they cannot hear me UNLESS my AirPods are connected. I went to my settings to see if they change. They have not. Once the call end if I’m listen to any videos or music I can hear it just fine. I absolutely NEED my AirPods to make a call or receive one. I’ve also been having trouble with my camera. I cannot take pictures through any apps or through my normal provided camera! What’s going on
