Homepod audio issues

When using my 4K Apple TV with the HomePod, the audio won’t work with some apps. Netflix, Disney etc all work fine, but things like Twitch and Kayo sports don’t work. Weird thing is, if I use my phone to watch these apps the audio on the HomePod works fine. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks
