Voicemail concerning iCloud account

I received a voicemail on my home phone saying not to access my banking accounts as there has been suspicious activity on my iCloud account. The message press 1 to take to apple.

Is this how you notify a customer as to suspicious activity?

No, that is a scam. Apple does not make unsolicited phone calls. If there was a problem with your account they would notify you when you attempt to log in, including when logging in to this forum.
