Mac Pro Missing Wheels - complete confusion at Apple Support

Has anyone received their new Pro with wheels? Do they have brakes?

I ordered my Pro with wheels, and waited an extra 1.5 months for the wheels. However, it was shipped without wheels - they literally packed the wrong configuration in the box (maybe making in in China is better, after all?!).

Anyway, there is no way for Apple to send me wheels I can install myself. The whole thing has to be returned. But the exterior cardboard box has to be replaced, which Apple won't do... the whole experience has been ridiculous - 2 hours on the phone with Apple Support, 1 hour at a big Apple Store... everyone was nice but had no clue about (a) how the wheels actually work and if they have brakes and (b) how to go about getting new ones

Eau Rouge--

Perhaps if you switch to a bluetooth keyboard, you could type a sentence or two before rolling out of range.

Then a few quick strokes to get back in range, and you might be able to finish your paragraph.

I am not sure whether handoff could be that useful in this case, because it is so hard to type on your phone when you start to pick up speed.

Jiminy cricket...

For a bit of extra modularity, you can even add wheels to the machine, allowing you to push the Mac Pro around your studio. The wheels, however, will be sold separately and their price is unknown.

Doesn't look like any brakes///

Stainless steel frame with wheels

Customize your Mac Pro to have a stainless steel frame with wheels, which is ideal for moving your Mac Pro quickly and easily without having to lift it. Configuring your Mac Pro with wheels makes it about an inch taller than the frame with feet.
