None. A VPN is intended to connect a computing device to a private network so that it can access resources on that network.

So called "VPN services" are nothing more than glorified proxy servers. Not only do they NOT increase security and protect your privacy, they can actually make matters worse.

I agree with this, i downloaded ExpressVpn and had nothing but problems. My keychain has gone to not working, iPhone to iTunes is not working. Slow loading webpages and iMac computer settings all messed up.

If you are moving to working remotely, I suggest you contact your IT department. My university requires very specific software.
