Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I tried to update my iPad through iTunes last night, and it gave me unknown error 4010 and my iPad went into recovery mode. I tried again about a couple hours ago, with my firewall/antivirus off and this time it failed at about 5% through the apple loading bar with error 4010. Is my iPad screwed?

I don't see a 4010 error by itself, but you can check this support document which has a couple of errors in that area. If you see error 9, 4005, 4013, or 4014 when you restore your iOS device - Apple Support

this is what happens when I try to restore/update
after several failed attempts, I was able to get my iPad working again. Thanks for the help
