Landscape and Charging icon

If anyone at Apple sees this please ask the powers that be as to why, After we have unlocked the IPhone 11 Pro Max the Home screen doesn't rotate to landscape (S10e does and its $500 cheaper)?, Why can't we get a charging indicator with battery level on the lock screen? Simple items that every other phone has, yet a $1200 revolutionary, Best IPhone ever made, nothing like it on the market, groundbreaking new ideas, IPhone 11 Pro Max doesn't have. If the IPhone is turned off and charging, You have NO idea what the charge level is! Stupid. The reason I ask about the Landscape mode on the Home screen is this, We watch movies in landscape, and we shouldn't have to rotate the **** phone every time we have to select something from the home screen just to rotate it back to watch. First world problems I know but it is a $1200 phone that doesnt have software a $700 or even $500 phone has. WHY?!
