Adobe Bridge running on Catalina crashes and it's extremely slow

A few weeks ago I got a brand new 16 inch MacBook pro and I'm concerned about the bad performance of Adobe Bridge on it so far. Firstly the thumbnails of my RAW files take extremely long to load (I use a Canon EOS5D which produces files of up to 60MB each, but even my MacBook from 2012 was faster doing this with 4GB RAM), and today the program has crashed twice already when trying to display the thumbnails of some photos which are stored on an SD card. Is someone else having a similar problem and/or knows how can I solve this? Any ideas on how to get Bridge to load the thumbnails faster? I already increased the Cache from 100.000 to 200.000...

MacBook Pro 16", macOS 10.15

Hi jcberlin,

Thanks for posting. As I understand it, you're having some issues using third-party software on your Mac.

This resource, published by Adobe, looks like it might be a good place to start: Troubleshoot Bridge for freezes and performance issues. If needed, you can get in touch with Adobe directly using the "Contact us" section at the bottom of this link: Adobe Help Center

Take care.
