I've updated my MacBook Pro to macOS High Sierra, and now it doesn't detect my old garmin device, an etrex Legend C. It doesn't appear in finder. Garmin support answers it's a problem with macOS.
Has anyone faced this issue?

I've tested with 3 different cables, one of them the Garmin original. Before upgrading to High Sierra the system detected it with same cable. In fact, the usb port is giving the power enough because when I plug the Garmin device it powers on without battery needed.

In Finder preferences General tab all options are checked, and in sidebar tab all devices are checked too.
The Garmin device is connected by usb port.

Hmmm, seems it's not switching on, no idea how much, does it have no mA used?
Seems it must be using zero since USB2 only provides 500mA per port anyway... could it be the cable?

No. It seems High Sierra won't detect my Garmin device any more. I don't want to downgrade OS but I can't use my gps. It's desperate.
I'm out of ideas, we need more help in here! :)
