Can't read mail

When i open mail the following message comes up:

Mail cannot save information about your mailboxes because there isn’t enough space in your home folder.

Quit Mail and delete any files you don’t need. Then open Mail again.


What files are they talking about?

How do I fix this?

Almost certainly, your entire system volume is full. You need to make more room by deleting some files you don't need any longer. Nobody here can tell you which of your files you may not need.
