Accidentally changed my country/region to Australia and want to switch back to USA

I wanted to listen to some music through the iTunes Store. It told me the music I had chosen was only available in the Australian store and asked if I wanted to switch to that store. I didn’t think much of it so I said yes, assuming I could just switch back when I was done.

But now it turns out I have to cancel my subscriptions, including Apple Music, just to switch back, which is weird because it never told me about any of this when it first asked if I wanted to switch to the Australian store.

is there any way to switch back to the USA store without removing everything from my account?

No, there isn't.

You need a zero account balance and you need to cancel all your subscriptions. If you have cancelled all subscriptions, but some haven’t expired, contact iTunes Support. You need a credit card issued by a bank in the country the store is in, and you need a billing address in that country. If you have an account balance, either buy something more expensive and pay the balance with a credit card or contact iTunes Support and ask them to zero balance your account.
