I forgot my sign in code to unlock my iphone 7. How can I change the code from my desktop?

You cannot set anything from a desktop. You will need to restore the iPhone to remove the forgotten passcode. See the instructions here, If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support
