iPhone 6 boot loop, error 4013, doesn't restore in DFU mode
Hello everyone! I recently wanted to set up a backup phone so I took out my old iPhone 6.
Tried powering it on, but started up in a boot loop.
The apple logo shows up for about 1.5 seconds after plugging it into a charger, then it goes black again.
About 3-4 seconds later it shows the apple logo again.
I tried to restore it in iTunes in DFU mode.
Clicked restore and after waiting for the file to download, the status bar thingy at the top showed 'waiting for iPhone'.
Afterwards i was met with error 4013.
Tried to flash it with 3uTools and had the same error.
This time i was given a longer explanation though: 'unexpected device state 'recovery' expected 'restoreos'.
I am using a genuine apple lightning cable and have tried the USB ports in the front and the back of the PC.
I am beginning to suspect hardware damage.
If so, is it anything i can fix at home?
Anyone have any suggestions and tips?
I don't really want to bring it to a store repair shop, but i live on an island where there are no genius bars or apple stores present so I might have to.
Please let me know if you have any ideas that might work.
(Have tried
-Using dr.Fone
-Using 3uTools
-Deleting Hosts file)
Any response is greatly appreciated!!
