Recovery Mode

No matter what I try to do in recover mode I can't seem to get my phone to update. Is there a way to update my phone and not factory reset my phone?

iPhone XR, iOS 13

Hi Alysa-

Thats a shame. Appears that your iPhone is frozen in recovery mode and therefore the only way that I know how to attempt to restore the iPhone is this -->>If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

Hi Alysa-

The standard method of Over the Air update does not work for your iPhone XR?

Go to Settings-->>General-->>Software Update and see if you can update over WiFi with your iPhone charged at least 50% or higher. This method will not erase any of your data.
