Catalina creating terrible problems on MacBook Pro

Good grief, this took me days to post.... Catalina has really messed up my MacBook Pro. I think the stats will be listed below. I have had problems with:

Safari shutting down

The computer restarts itself

Everything just stops working... spinning wheel of death

I can't force quit applications and I have to push the power button to restart the computer

It took me two days to post this because my computer kept shutting down, or didn't let me open Safari.

I do not back up this computer. It has nothing on it. We surf the internet and download (unimportant) files to the desktop, but that's about it. Important files are kept on USBs, and used and accessed when plugged in.

I don't see anything in the Etrecheck report that should be causing the problems you are having.

Try setting up another admin user account in System Preferences/Users & Groups to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

Isolating an issue by using another user account https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204443

Safe Mode - About. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

If things aren't any better in another admin account or the Safe Mode, try reinstalling the OS. Do a backup, preferable 2 separate ones on 2 drives. Boot to the Recovery Volume (command - R on a restart). Run Disk Utility and select First Aid. Then re-install the OS.
