Adobe Smart Card Services

I'm in the Army Reserve and use my Mac for nearly everything. My smart card works for accessing DoD websites, but Adobe does not recognize my smart card. Is there a workaround to sign Adobe docs?

MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.13
