iPad only waking up after numerous attempts

Hi. I have a 6th generation iPad and recently noticed that it only wakes up after repeatedly pressing the on/off and/or home button. I am hearing clips etc but nothing on the screen and then it suddenly wakes up after numerous attempts. I did a reset and the problem remains. Any ideas?

iPad won't wake I have an iPad Air version 3 and I have consistent issues with my iPad not waking when I press the home button. I have to either do a hard reset and sometimes that doesn't work so I just have to wait a half hour or so and then it will work fine. Generally have to enter my passcode as if it did finally reset. Any way to fix this?

My iPad keeps waking until it runs down the battery Since I updated my iPad keeps waking, over and over until it runs down the battery. Was fine up until the install. Anyone have this problem? And how did you resolve it? Update was done on May 6th 2023 (16.4.1) [Re-Titled by Moderator]
