Got notice on my phone that someone in Boston is using my Apple ID to sign into a device

Got notice on my phone that someone in Boston is using my Apple ID to sign into a device. I’m about 6 states away from there. I denied access and changed my password. Should I be worried? Has someone attained my ID and password? Identify Fraud? My computer was hacked a while back could this be related?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
