The battery condition reported by macOS is usually fairly accurate. Try running the Apple Diagnostics since it may sometimes reveal battery issues not detectable by macOS.
macOS does a lot of work when it boots the system and logs into the Desktop. Usually the system checks for macOS updates and other software updates, plus each app may run its own scan depending on what software you have installed and configured to launch on boot & login. Battery Cycle Count really does not mean a whole lot and is only a very small aspect to determining battery health.
To look for potential software issues run EtreCheck and post the report here using the "Additional Text" icon which looks like a piece of paper.
