Hi I’m looking to see what version of Bluetooth my iPad mini has. Here is what it says in about settings 24:A2:E1:27:C2:2B, but I need to know if it is 4.2 compatable or not. If not is it possible to upgrade the version?

Your Bluetooth version is hardware related; upgrade via firmware update is not possible.
If you have a specific requirement for a specific minimum BT/BTLE version, as with any hardware decision, you’ll have to select a device to meet your express needs.
Is it possible to upgrade to 4.2 from 4.0? or is there a hardware upgrade needed as well?
