Unable to update

I have been trying to update certain apps from a long time but i have been getting a message which says “ unable to update because it is already purchased by other apple ID” whenever i try to update it. Can somebody please tell me what it means and help me update my apps.

p.s- i do not have any other apple Id neither have i made any change in it from a long time.

Try signing out of the App Store/iTunes, restart your device, and then sign back in.


Have you checked the purchases history of your current Apple ID to see if the apps are listed there?
