I have a ipod nano. I synced some recent downloaded music but at the same time, it removed all my other songs from the ipod. I can see them there in the library when I open itunes, but can't work out how to get them all back onto the ipod. Thanks!!!

You don't have to subscribe to Apple Music to do that.

If you don't want to sync your entire music, you can select only those you prefer, by choosing "selected playlists, artists..."

If you are not using Apple Music, all titles have to be part of your iTunes music library, to sync them back to the iPod.
If they are not, you'll have to download them again, in case you bought them in iTunes.
Thanks. Not using Apple music as yet, everything in itunes. As far as I know, they are in the library. Sorry, not very tech savvy, so need some instructions. If I start using Apple music, will all the songs transfer across? Appreciate the help.
You will need to backup the iPod from either the PC or iCloud, wherever you made the backup.
If you didn't, they are gone, gone gone. Start again.
iTunes is particularly very poor at the moment, many problems.
